Responsibilities

Housekeeping, Laundry, Food and Beverage & Front desk. Responsibilities for housekeeping includes: cleaning and putting together rooms. In laundry you are responsible for running the washer and dryers and folding the linen for the housekeepers. In food and beverage you are responsible for helping the chefs prepare the food as well as serving customers at their tables. Finally, for front desk you are responsible for checking in guests as well as assist with whatever problems they might bring to your attention.

Accomplishments

Becoming lead in the laundry department. While having my supervisors and coworkers seeking out my advice on how to run the department.

What advice would you give?

Focus on improving your skills within your internship and be open to making new friends along the way.
