Responsibilities

During my internship, I presented our curriculum in schools across the state, worked independently to translate surveys, met one-on-one with my supervisor to discuss future projects, and got to work on clerical things.

Accomplishments

My greatest accomplishment during my internship experience was seeing how something I worked on in the early stages blossomed and reached youth in local communities and across the nation.

Learning experience

The greatest lesson I have learned from my experience is to take care of yourself. There will always be something to do, but you can not pour from an empty cup. It is critical that you prioritize your overall well-being and establish your boundaries to take care of yourself and do the best work you can.

What advice would you give?

Make connections as early as you can! Building those connections with people who work in a job that you might want one day will be extremely beneficial. It allows you to get to know the job firsthand and see if it is a good fit for you.
