Responsibilities

I was a merchandising intern that focused on analytics regarding the inventory. I figured out statistics for what was best selling and got to choose which merchandise was placed on the floor based off of the data I discovered.

Accomplishments

I got to create one of our window displays. It was so much fun having the free range to play around with visual merchandising.

Learning experience

I loved getting to know all of the local boutique owners! It was a great way to network and get to meet business professionals and hear their stories.

What advice would you give?

Don't be discouraged when you are on the hunt for an internship! It is a long process but worth it in the end.
