Responsibilities

My responsibilities included creating weekly sales reports, assisting with line adoption and meeting with cross functional teams (design, sourcing, catalog, creative and digital). Near the end of the experience, I also completed a group project with interns from different departments.

Accomplishments

My greatest accomplishment was assisting with line adoption while my team was short-staffed. The design team needed numbers on the sales from different swim styles, so I got to step up and provide information in the absence of my former mentor.

What advice would you give?

My advice would be to set goals for yourself going into your internship. These experiences fly by so it's great to know what your priorities are. For me, it was making sure I shadowed different departments and asked questions about the merchant's thought processes when making reports.
