Accomplishments
Developing a new SKU plan layout for one of the brands in the Men's division. It was to be utilized by the design team and needed to be easy to understand. I set up the file in excel and handled all the inputs and calculations. Once it was finished and given to the design team, they raved about how simple it was for them to understand and how it will make their work easier. I was really proud to have created such a useful tool for the design team and it was the first time I was really able to see the meaningful impact I was making at the company.
What advice would you give?
Be patient with yourself. The internship search can be daunting in the beginning, but don't let that discourage you. Trust your experiences and skills to lead you to the right place for the summer. Don't be too focused on the name of the company or the city you'll be working in. An internship is about finding an environment that challenges you and gives you the opportunity to grow.
