- Operated the Book Bag Program with preschool classrooms. - Planned monthly social club events/activities for parents. - Coordinated donors for our Car Seat and Baby Shower events. - Produced large advertisements for those three events. - Organized our storage space and the clothing pantry. - Shadowed during home visits.

My greatest accomplishment from this internship would be securing donors for our Baby Shower Event. This event is large and needs a good amount of funds to run it. I was a little out of my comfort zone asking for donations - especially from larger companies/organizations but it was a great learning experience and it worked out well!

What advice would you give?

My advice for future students would be to make sure you are communicating well and often with your site supervisor prior to starting and to not overwhelm yourself too much. It can be a lot working more hours than you're used to and taking classes but just breathe and know that others are doing it and you have them to reach out to and lean on when/if needed. Remember it's a learning process and you may mess up a few times but it's all a part of that process.
