Responsibilities

My job duties insist set up and tear down of events. Set up includes rolling out tables, placing linens as well as place settings, center pieces, and chairs. I assist in tastings for weddings as we do all catering in house. I also have shadowed and assisted in venue tours. I have made BEO's and have also worked during events.

Accomplishments

My greatest accomplish from my experience thus far has been flipping the venue on my own. I have set the venue for an event for up to 180 guests all on my own. A large amount of hours go into flipping the venue and it is a lot of manual labor.

What advice would you give?

Make sure you are dedicated to the job you have. You will be working long hard hours and you want it to be something you are passionate about. It is easier to put in the hard work to something you are excited about.
