Responsibilities

Interns at Amanda the Panda work closely with the program coordinator for volunteers as well as the program coordinator for grief and loss. A day as an intern is never the same and can include many things such as, helping with office upkeep, making calls, setting up for programming, researching, or being a part of programming. Interns are fully submerged in the work at ATP.

Accomplishments

My greatest accomplishment from my experience would probably be getting to do almost all of the planning for our volunteer appreciation event. Aside from the food plan the other interns and I planned, gathered, and set up for the event.

What advice would you give?

What I would tell future students is to keep an open mind and do not be afraid to ask for help. You probably are going to go in not truly knowing what or how to do anything but keep your mind open for opportunity and do not be afraid to ask if you need to because you will learn so much more.
