I helped out with keeping the style closet clean and organized. I helped keep track of the products we had coming in and out and helped log things into the server on my computer. I was able to stand in on a photoshoot as well and helped unpack for that. I helped keep track of credits and put those into the computer as well.
I felt as though I made a good impression with everyone and built some solid connections. Seeing people of seniority and how they work was very inspiring and I learned a lot from them.
I learned a lot of hacks for Google Sheets and Word so that has helped me. I have also learned a lot from my supervisor. She always used very positive words and laughed with people and I feel this is important when working with people. You need to be a people person in this line of work and build connections.
What advice would you give?
Don't be scared to get out of your comfort zone. Getting into a routine is a big adjustment but it makes all the difference in the world for how your day is going to go.
