Responsibilities

I work in the school age summer camp program at University Community Childcare. I fulfill the responsibilities of a lead teacher while I am in the classroom. I create weekly plans, work on the newsletter, and plan some field trips.

Accomplishments

Being told I am going to make an amazing teacher after graduation, and being told that the lesson plans I made were excellent and really showcased by ability to plan according to children's needs

What advice would you give?

For my specific internship: get to know every child personally and build a relationship with them, it will make your time there so much more amazing General internship: pick an internship you feel passionate about, picking one just to meet your requirement will make you miserable
