Responsibilities

My internship responsibilities involve handling the company’s public image through press releases and social media management/marketing. I’m also involved in things like website design, event planning, and increasing overall operational efficiency!

Accomplishments

My greatest accomplishment was probably my involvement in the company’s Annual General Meeting. This conference involved an incredible amount of detail, planning, coordination, and design effort to pull off and is the biggest event the company hosts. As it involved VIPs and high-profile clientele, it was crucial for things to run not just smoothly but perfect.

Learning experience

I learned a lot about organization! My job involves a variety of tasks and it’s easy to get lost if you don’t have good structure. I thought I was very organized before but when you’re dealing with a fast-paced environment, there’s always room to improve.

What advice would you give?

Everything is related to fashion and every job has skills that can be applied to fashion if you look at the bigger picture! In any job/internship, with any opportunity, even if it isn't directly fashion related, think about how you can connect those learned abilities to what you truly want to do. You will get so much more out of experiences that way.
