Accomplishments

I got the chance to give some of my design ideas into their new lines, which is really exciting! I got to do the mood board and the inspiration board. I have illustrated my designs and some of them have been accepted by the company, which means my design will be a real product in a few weeks.

Learning experience

How to pick suitable fabrics and trims. How to communicate with clients and modify designs based on their needs. How to work in a team under pressure. How to manage your time and use your time effectively.

What advice would you give?

My advice is that you need to have great skills on tech flats with hand drawing and you need to know terminologies in Chinese for better communication of design details. You always need to ask what you can do to help and be really positive. The last one is be prepared for the hot weather if your internship is in summer.
