Jarrel Johnson named 2020 NAEd/Spencer Dissertation Fellow for education inclusion research
Jarrel Johnson, a doctoral candidate in the School of Education at Iowa State University, has received a prestigious $27,500 fellowship to support his research on inclusion of queer and trans* students at public historically black colleges and universities.
Johnson has been named a Dissertation Fellow by the National Academy of Education and the Spencer Foundation. The highly competitive program aims to identify and support the most talented researchers conducting dissertation research related to education. Read More
