Exploring grad school? Join us for a virtual session and explore what we have to offer!

09/07/2022

In Iowa State University’s College of Health and Human Sciences, your graduate degree will expand your knowledge in your chosen field and prepare you for the next step in your career. We offer online, hybrid and in-person options designed for people of all stages in their academic journey.

To help you explore options, we’re hosting two virtual events (same format for both sessions). We’ll cover graduate school options for the first part of this 60-minute session and then host breakout rooms where you can learn more about programs that interest you.

Human Sciences’ faculty and staff will be available to share information and answer questions like:

  • What are the steps to apply for grad school?
  • How do I pay for grad school?
  • Does it matter what undergrad degree I have?
  • What types of professional opportunities are available after grad school?

Sessions will be held via Zoom on the following dates:

  • Thursday, Sept. 22, 7 to 8 p.m. (CST)
  • Monday, Oct. 17 8 to 9 p.m. (CST)

Once you register using the link above, you will be sent a Zoom link for the session of your choice. Sessions are designed for prospective students who live outside of Ames and working professionals. If you’re a current Iowa State undergraduate student, we encourage you to consider attending one of our in-person events.
