Select the Major Exploration Day that is the right fit for your interests:
October 8, 2021 – This event is a daily campus visit for high school seniors who are exploring the Event Management and Hospitality Management majors. Attendees will have the opportunity to interact with current students, meet faculty and advisors, tour program spaces, and discover how the Event Management and Hospitality Management majors align with their career goals.
(Apparel, Merchandising, and Design): April, 2022 – This year will different from past years and be an entirely virtual format. We expect Spring 2022 will allow us to return to our normal activities: attend the dress rehearsal for the annual Iowa State University Fashion Show, hear from our guest designer what the world of fashion is all about, talk to students who have interned in New York and studied in London, participate in workshops, and much more.
October 1, 2021 – This event is designed for high school seniors who have an interest in exploring majors in the Department of Human Development and Family Studies (HDFS). Interact with current students, meet faculty and advisors, tour program spaces, and discover how the HDFS “people-centered” majors align with your career goals.
October 15, 2021 – An inside look for prospective students and their family members at careers and majors working with food and nutrition, diet and exercise, and food product development. Interact with current students and faculty members and participate in hands-on workshops.
