Future Alumni Events

All events are currently postponed until the fall of 2021. Here are some alumni focused events we traditionally hold every year:

  • Get ExCyted women’s basketball event – early winter
  • Des Moines Zoo Brew – June
  • Iowa Capitol luncheon – late September

Dean’s Advisory Council

The council includes approximately 25 to 30 individuals, invited by the Dean of the College of Human Sciences. Candidates for appointment might include CHS alumni, non-alumni with an interest in the college, donors, parents, faculty, current students and friends. Alumni who are interested in serving on the council can reach out to any director of development or Theresa Boetcher.
