College of Human Sciences welcomes new director of undergraduate recruitment
The College of Human Sciences is excited to welcome Beth Foreman as the director of undergraduate recruitment.
Foreman has spent the past 20 years of her career in Iowa State’s College of Agriculture and Life Sciences as a staff member in the college’s Student Services Office. Throughout her career, she has worked in all facets of recruitment and will bring extensive experience in data-driven recruitment to the role.
“We are excited to have Beth join us,” said Robert Reason, professor of education and associate dean for undergraduate academic affairs. “She brings considerable, directly-related experience in recruitment, a commitment to Iowa State and our land grant mission, and a level of energy that will certainly draw students to our college.”
Not only is Foreman a Cyclone, she’s also a two-time graduate of the College of Human Sciences receiving her B.S. in child, parent, and community services, and her M.S. in human development. Foreman also has her Ph.D. agricultural education.
“The College of Human Sciences is where I first became a Cyclone,” Foreman said. “The role brings together many of my past experiences and I am looking forward to leading recruitment for the college.”
She also has experience in teaching, advising, event coordination, research mentoring, scholarly publications and presentations, and spent ten years working with Iowa State Extension. In every role, she focuses on building relationships with those around her.
Foreman will begin her new role as College of Human Sciences Director of Undergraduate Recruitment on June 15.
