Ella’s journey at Iowa State started with a love for science, art and the Cyclones. She followed a family tradition by choosing Iowa State and chose Kinesiology and Health for the in-depth, hands-on education that focused on human anatomy. She knew the program will help her pursue her goal of becoming a dentist.
From engaging labs to supportive professors and advisors, she found a community that helped her grow not just academically, but personally.
Her involvement in Senior Class Council adds another layer of meaning — it’s the same organization where her parents met years ago. Now, she’s helping plan events like “Weiners for Seniors,” bringing students together to celebrate milestones and memories. It’s a full-circle moment that ties her family’s legacy to her own experience in a way that’s both heartwarming and inspiring.
She also spent two Spring Break trips in Costa Rica providing dental care to underserved communities.
