Finding her future in fashion at Iowa State
What makes Iowa State’s Fashion Design and Merchandising program the right fit?
Two days into her first year at Iowa State, Katie knew this program was the start of her fashion journey.
She was drawn to the various focus areas in the fashion design and merchandising program and got involved in student organizations like The Fashion Show and TREND magazine.
“I had amazing instructors who brought real industry experience into the classroom,” she says. “They taught us current fashion standards and inspired me to pursue my master’s degree so I can teach apparel design someday.”
