From Iowa State to Early Childhood Leadership: Kristin Rourk’s Journey of Impact
For Kristin Rourk, a career in early childhood education has always been about making a difference when it matters most. From her beginnings as a PK-2 special education teacher to her current leadership role supporting educators and young learners as the director of early childhood education for Des Moines Public schools, Kristin has dedicated her career to helping children reach their full potential during the most critical years of development.
