Tera Jordan’s article on declining divorce rate published by The Conversation

The U.S. divorce rate has decreased by 18% from 2008 to 2016.

The Conversation published an article written by Tera Jordan, an associate professor in human development and family studies, about the declining divorce rate in the U.S.

“Young adults are being more decisive – in not only the timing of their nuptials, but also their choice to marry,” Jordan wrote. Jordan also explains the term “gray divorce” and the differing ways people view marriage and divorce in today’s society compared to previous generations.
