Responsibilities

Some of the responsibilities during my internship are to create outfits using some of the editor tools provided to me by Fiteo. I mainly try creating content that is following a certain theme/storyline or something that is on trend. I also take a look at the analytics to compare different types of content (Pintrest Idea Pins vs Standard pins) and see which type of content gets more traffic going through our website. I also attend weekly meetings to discuss what goes well with our content and what we should focus on for the next week.

Accomplishments

I think my greatest accomplishment during the internship experience would be getting familiar with how Pintrest works and seeing what does well because it will help me in the future when I decide to get some more publicity for my brand in the future.

Learning experience

I learned to have a lot more patience and better time management because there is no specific time that I need to attend work. However, I do need to fulfill the hours and put a lot of time into creating great content so that Fiteo sees the results they want.

What advice would you give?

I would recommend future students to make sure that you have the time to do your internship because it can be hard when you are taking a lot of classes, working your regular hours, and then your internship on top of it. You don't want to overwhelm yourself so do make sure that you aren'y super overwhelmed during your internship!
