Responsibilities

During my internship with Castle Medical , I shadowed and assisted senior sales representatives in the operating room, gaining firsthand experience with orthopedic product demonstrations, including surgical trays and implants. I played an active role in coordinating with hospital staff to ensure our surgical kits and implants were delivered to the correct facilities ahead of scheduled procedures. I participated in operating room discussions, deepening my understanding of the clinical applications of our products and observing how they directly impact patient outcomes. I also gathered valuable feedback from surgeons and clinical consultants, contributing to ongoing product development and helping to ensure the highest standards of post-operative quality of life.

Accomplishments

My greatest accomplishment was the strong connections I built with a number of surgeons and hospital staff. This job is very complex in how you interact with surgeons and hospital staff but my greatest accomplish was learning how to do that and doing that successfully.

Learning experience

The greatest lesson I learned was how important adaptability is in this profession. Being in this profession taught me that it is not just black and white and being adaptable is so vital for this field.
