Responsibilities

My responsibilities included running reports for clients' meetings. Creating simulation experiences within eMoney was my main responsibility along with creating a binder on how to do use eMoney. One of my bigger responsibilities was making phone calls to different companies about client accounts or general questions the firm had.

Accomplishments

My greatest accomplishment during my internship was learning to communicate with clients effectively. Throughout the course of my internship, I learned how to properly communicate with clients about eMoney connections and inputs within eMoney.

Learning experience

The greatest lesson I learned was don't be afraid to ask questions or for help if you don't know how to do something. When it comes client accounts it is important and guessing how to do something isn't enough.

What advice would you give?

Advice I would give to future students is to not overthink or worry before going into this experience. The site supervisors knows that you have little to no experience and some background knowledge. They aren't expecting you to know how to do everything just to be willing to learn.
