Responsibilities

During my internship I was able to work at many different schools helping with their after school programs. I was also able to create lesson plans for fun activities that the children will be doing! I have gotten the experience to interact with many different ages of children and have been able to teach them basic living skills throughout.

Accomplishments

My greatest accomplishment during my internship was getting out of my comfort zone to create lesson plans for students and getting the chance to actually implement them with the children.

Learning experience

The greatest lesson that I learned from my internship experience was it is okay to try new things and it can even help you learn new things.

What advice would you give?

My advice for future students in my major is that it is okay to not know exactly what you want to do. As long as you work hard and are optimistic about learning, you can accomplish anything and you will find something you really love even if you don't think its right for you in the beginning.
