Responsibilities

My job title was called Store Intern for the Evereve Mall of America location. I learned the responsibilities about being the manager of the store. I was a leader and stylist. Each week we had a zoom call with other interns in different locations, nationwide, and they taught us new responsibilities. While I was in the store my managers really put in leadership situations. I was floor leader and they pushed me to be a strong stylist.

Accomplishments

My greatest accomplishment was becoming floor leader. I used to be the one that would have to go talk to the leader about what I was doing and the connections that I was making. Now the stylist come to me and tell me all the connections they were making.

Learning experience

I learned to ask questions and be prepared to mess up. To become a strong leader you need to make a mistake here and there to be the best at what you do. A great lesson that I learned is the connections are golden. Talk to as many people as possible and learn more.

What advice would you give?

Advice for future students in my major is to push yourself always. You are more capable than you think. You will only grow if yo try and put extra effort into it.
