Helping You Pay for Learning Opportunities
We do whatever we can to help you get the best education. The College of Human Sciences and its programs offer approximately $2.7 million in scholarships each year to qualified students.
Undergraduate Application
The College of Human Sciences uses the same online application (OneApp) as the Iowa State University Office of Financial Aid to gather your information and consider you for appropriate scholarships from our pool of more than 100 scholarship funds.
Submitting a complete OneApp application ensures you will be considered for college level scholarships, department or school-level scholarships and university-level scholarships. The OneApp application takes about an hour to complete, and you can save and complete it at a later time if needed. You will need your Iowa State Net ID to start your application. You must complete both the general application and CHS application to be considered for a scholarship. Be sure to SUBMIT your application.
The online scholarship application page explains requirements, deadlines, and other details for CHS undergraduates (incoming freshmen, transfer, and current students).
All undergraduate students (incoming freshmen, transfer, and current students) must submit their application by January 10th at 11:59 p.m.
Academic Unit Scholarship Listings
Academic units have lists of their own department/school scholarships available on their websites. Remember that you are considered for these scholarships when you complete the CHS application form.
