Major-Based Visit Days

All of Iowa State’s visit options give you the opportunity to learn more about majors you’re interested in. We also offer special visit days for several of our majors that offer a deeper dive into the program. These major-based visit days are excellent first visits and are also great as a second visit!

AESHM Visit Day – The Department of Apparel, Events, and Hospitality Management offers a robust visit day where future Cyclones can explore programs in fashion design and merchandising, event management, and hospitality management.

Future Teacher Visit Day – If you have a passion for education and are thinking about becoming a teacher, this is an event you don’t want to miss! You’ll hear from current students, explore hands-on facilities, and learn how Iowa State’s curriculum puts you in real classrooms early in your educational journey.

Fashion Camp – This one isn’t technically a visit, it’s a weeklong camp where you’re immersed in Iowa State’s fashion program! You’ll engage in hands-on labs, learn from faculty, explore campus and create a garment for your very own fashion show. Fees apply and space is limited.
