Marketing & Communications Projects

We’re here to help amplify your message by using our various communications channels (website, social media, college display screens, email newsletters, etc). We can also help develop campaigns, promotional materials, flyers, social media packages and more. Contact Brittney Rutherford (brittyl@iastate.edu) with your needs.

Video & Photography

Our in-house video and photography services are here to create content around your messages, events, stories and more. Contact Laurel Feakes (lefeakes@iastate.edu) to talk about your needs today! We’re always looking for opportunities to take photos and/or video so be sure to let us know about events, student and alumni stories and any other ideas you have.

Headshots: We also take headshots that are then used on the the College of Human Sciences online staff directory. To have a headshot taken, email Laurel Feakes (lefeakes@iastate.edu). Headshots are taken using greenery as the backdrop – outside in nice weather and indoors at Reiman Gardens during the winter. If you know of others in your unit that need a headshot, keep in mind that scheduling is more efficient in groups.

Branding & Social Media Training

We have branding elements that can easily be deployed on social media and other projects to more closely align your unit’s marketing and communications with Iowa State and the College of Human Sciences. Any employee (student, full time, etc) should be trained on branding elements before creating communications or social media elements for prospective students, current students or alumni. To schedule a training, contact Laurel Feakes (lefeakes@iastate.edu).

Here to help!

If you don’t find what you’re looking for above, contact us (brittyl@iastate.edu)! Or, the service you need may be in another unit. Instructional resources can be found here and technology resources can be found here.
