Research, Scholarship, and Creative Activities

A foundational element of Iowa State University’s land-grant mission is research and discovery—putting science, technology, and human creativity to work. In the College of Health and Human Sciences (CHHS), faculty, staff, postdoctoral associates, graduate students, and undergraduate students support the college’s mission to create, share, and apply knowledge to improve people’s lives through the science and technology of living and learning.

We strive toward this mission through research, scholarship, and creative activities and their synergies with teaching and outreach, serving as a trusted partner for proactive and innovative solutions and creating new opportunities and forging new frontiers.

Support for Research, Scholarship, and Creative Activities

The college offers support for members of the CHHS community, including faculty, staff, postdoctoral associates, students, and collaborative teams, when submitting proposals and securing funding for research and/or creative activities.

REACHS Team

The Research Enterprise Advancing the College of Health and Human Services (REACHS) team supports funding prospecting, proposal development and submission, and post-award transition.

Individuals affiliated with CHHS can complete the REACHS Team Support Request form to initiate a conversation or request assistance with an internal or external proposal.
